Laya Yoga in the Academy Divya Loka

Laya Yoga is a Mystical Knowledge in the continuous successive line coming from ancient Mahasiddhas - great saints who possessed supernatural powers.

This Teaching has reached the present day practically without any distortion, because of the continuity of the special tradition of an oral instructions "upadesha", passed on from a Master to his Disciple.

Laya-yoga is often called the teaching of ‘three liberties’, that means the genuine freedom of body, speech and manifestation of consciousness. The body is allowed to be free from rituals, forms, worships and any artificial behavioral norms. Energy of speech is allowed to be free from mantras, prayers and psalms. Energy of mind is allowed to be free from philosophy and postulates.

It's the path where a yogi transcends the duality of what is right or wrong and is guided only by awareness.

Laya Yoga doesn’t start with a suppression of negative qualities, like anger or fear. It doesn’t start with nurturing positive ones, like kindness or optimism. No. Laya Yoga starts when you start feeling yourself like the manifestation of the great energy of Absolute; when you start feeling your body consisting of Streaming Light.

Laya-yoga Doctrine of Five Yantras - Five Methods.

    About Guru

Today this line is represented by a realized master Swami Vishnu Devananda Giriji - the only western master who has ever been given the status of Mahamandaleshwar by the saints of the most ancient monastic order, Juna Akhara, in India. This title can only be given to the teacher in recognition of his outstanding level of spiritual realization.

Swami Vishnu Dev had several spontaneous experiences of Nirvikalpa-samadhi at the age of 9. At the age of 27 as a result of intensive sadhana (services and practice) he experienced the full deep Enlightenment named in Jnana-Yoga —sahaja-samadhi.

Swami Vishnu Dev has received initiations from Gurus of many profound teachings. He also received knowledge from Devas (gods) and beings from the subtle world who don’t live in a physical body.

His Root Guru is siddha yogi Svami Brahmananda Maharaj who lived for 723 years and in 1986, attained Mahasamadhi. He was siddha, sacred yogin, the follower of a way ‘Anupaya’ - path beyond any method. It is the path of transmission of wisdom to the disciple beyond any concepts - by gaze, touch, riddles, parables, even inappropriate behavior, or by energy transfer, or in dreams.
